Maurice, helping

In the morning Elmo walked wih Her. In the evening it was my turn to help with the work. So I slept and dreamed and curled while She scribbled in a book. She calls that work.
In Her studio there is a new working place, though it does look very like a bed. Cleverly designed, She says, for it has a place for a wine glass to balance on a corner.

Oh, dear Maurice! How nice that she made a bed just for you and your wine glass! I believe you will be able to work diligently in this comfy place and i know you will invite her in.

Looks like her studio is turning into a "retreat" -- not that that's a bad thing. . .

So very good of Maurice to help with the sleeping. He looks so comfortable too, very inspiring to those who long for warmth and a snooze... preferably with a warm cat sleeping on the stomach. Very therapeutic.

My cat Cyrus says Maurice is quite right, you have to be comfortable and cosy before you can begin the serious work of assisting your human. He is currently curled up in his snoozie next to a warm wheat pillow and if I listen carefully he is purring gently....so I had better go and do some work.

It looks like a very cozy place to work...or sit with a glass of wine...or curl up and sleep!

What beautifully cat-co-ordinated cushions too . . .

Clever indeed. Of course, with kitties about, a good question might be: is there a good place for a tipped wine glass to fall?
